We found an old letterpress drawer this weekend. It still has some of the former owner's collection glued inside of it (some shells, paper flags, and some other dirty unidentifiables). I've been thinking about how I could turn this into an interesting object. Louise Nevelson was the most fascinating person I learned about in my Contemporary Art History class, and I can remember vividly the interviews we watched of her. I was pretty taken by this crazy woman and her matte black, gold, and white structures. I just have to find a fur coat and some fake eyelashes before I whip out the spray paint.
