Went to a small park with Anaïs and Anaïs.
One Anaïs asked the park keeper if the grass was clean.
As in, was there dog poop in the grass?
This struck me in a few different ways, because:
1. it would never occur to me to ask the park keeper this question
2. the keeper responded kindly and dilligently
3. this is a valid concern in France
4. it smelled like dog poop, but we couldn't see any.
Park keeper:
It was difficult to say,
because he hadn't cleaned the grass since the morning.
D'accord.
