life in the midwest is good. i saw lake michigan this weekend and remembered how big it is. was sad for my abbreviated childhood, and then quickly stopped feeling sorry for myself. promised myself i would be a fun cousin. pulled my cousins in a wagon and watched the first harry potter (my aunt has reading before viewing regulations for her children. it was really fun to hear a kid's perspective on how her imagination was different from a movie).
enjoyed my family. adjusted to a new, early schedule that young children keep.
