Finally sent a letter off to an old friend. I have had these transparent envelopes hanging around since my Colorado days, and I was never satisfied with what you could see through them. But the Yoshitomo Nara postcard seems pretty perfect. I like the idea that the postal service would be able to, for once, see what people are writing about. Poor USPS, going bankrupt. Makes me sad. Said letter recipient is also the person who taught me how to make delicious sautéed mushrooms, as seen peeking out from under fried eggs in first photo.
