i have a self-diagnosed wheat allergy.
it's a recent theory i'm working with,
but not really sticking to my guns on the whole
not-eating-baked-goods idea.

especially when it comes to the
escargots at du pain et des idées.
there are several different varieties of deliciousness
(praline featured above, with its friend a chocolatine)
they also confection up these hot pockety things that bring together things like
spinach and goat cheese, or lardons and mimolette.

i've been sadly, sadly disappointed,
because they are only open during the week
and i find that saturdays and sundays make for the best escargot eating days.
