more from the weekend trip upstate, a magical place i had only heard of when i lived here. it exists! and it's beautiful! although i was a bit worried about ticks (i found two. they are teeny tiny.). patio-sitting is one of my favorite sports, as is rock-sunning on the river. i'm good at those. i also jumped off of a cliff into the river, twice, to convince myself that yes, i can.
