a nice weekend with friends, cakes, and beautiful music.
alexis performed on saturday night, and i got pins and needles because her voice is so something i don't have words for. i made a pumpkin cheesecake, and ate a piece of
galette du roi. i also received a package filled with the most delicious cookies made by
maria, and have already eaten all of them too. i went to cafe coutume for the first time, and had a latte with milk art, and talked bikes and business. i drank a glass of wine that was about eight times the size of a normal french glass.

is coutumne is good as they say it is? i hope so, because paris needs a lot more of that kind of fancy coffee - or at least it did the last time i was living there.
It really is good! I agree that Paris could use some more coffee places like this. I forgot what it was like to be a coffee snob!
